Inspired by the the shoe cobblers of America March Madness group I’ve decided to come up with a new approach to the greatest tournament ever created.

First the rules are pretty simple. You are afforded one team representing each seed 1-16. If the team advances you are awarded points.

The first round is simple. Seed win equals points awarded. 1X1.

The second round the seed’s value will be doubled.

A Sweet 16 win equals seed times 10.

An Elite 8 win equals seed times 20.

A Final Four victory equals seed times 50.

And finally the champion will be rewarded seed times 200.

Now you may ask, “Adam How did you come up with this points concept?” and that answer is simple….. Chat GPT. I worked with our AI overlords to develop a balanced scoring system that not only rewards strong Cinderella’s, but it also allows for the blue blood number 1 seed to continue chugging along and eventually be the top point scorer in the event they win the tournament.
